Come June 2019, the ATO will be visiting businesses in Dandenong (North & South), Victoria. The officers that conduct the visit will be carrying ATO identification so any small business they visit will know they are ATO employees.
In addition to helping businesses that need extra support, they are also dealing with those deliberately doing the wrong thing and getting
an unfair advantage, so all businesses get a fair go.
There will be information sessions for local businesses before the visits, and they will be inviting clients that operate in that area to
attend. The information sessions are designed for businesses, but you are also welcome to join if you are interested.

- What you can expect during the visit
- Common mistakes businesses make and how they can avoid them
- How investing in point of sale technology and electronic record keeping will help with accuracy and save tax agents time when looking after their tax and superannuation obligations.
