The ATO is back on the debt collection and audit trail.  They are actively chasing overdue monies with increased vigour. Gone are the days during Covid that the ATO backed off their debt collection and audit activities. Those days are gone and now a far distant memory. So, if the ATO calls you don’t despair and ignore their calls.

The ATO have various ways of dealing with outstanding monies. However, if you ignore them, they are not going to disappear.Every business is different, and we have found the ATO very accommodating and willing to assist businesses who may be experiencing cash flow difficulties.
