Hayes Girling Financial Newsletter

Welcome to our final newsletter of 2017. We’ve had a wonderful year,

experienced some great results and welcomed several fantastic new

members to the team. Below is a snap shot of our past 12 months

2017 W&FP Gala "Empowering Women"

Tuesday the 17th October 2017 marked Hayes Girling Financials’ fourth annual Women & Financial Planning Gala held at Calibar in Scoresby. It was our biggest event to date with over 130 attendees and we couldn’t have asked for better weather for the evening. The room was a hive of activity as canapes were served, drinks were poured and people wandered the market stalls, making some great purchases.

Our key note speaker Louise McIlwraith of Trucore Wellness, shared her incredibly personal journey which
had the room in tears at times, reminding everyone of the importance of being true to oneself.

Audrey from Soulbird gave a brief mediation and breathing demonstration that left the audience feeling relaxed and empowered.

We had three fantastic panel members, Louise McIlwraith, Lee-Anne Walsh, Business Transformation Manager for a global charity, who specialises in running leadership programs for women, and Trini Montes the Financial Planning Manager at HGF, offer an insight into their personal experiences and answered numerous questions from the audience.

We received some wonderful feedback from the night:

*An excellent forum & great inspiration from the speakers, thank you.
*Thank you for another wonderful event, already looking forward to next years.
*Fantastic info, warm and welcoming group

Count Charitable Foundation

In 2017 Hayes Girling Financial were fortunate enough to present two cheques on behalf of the Count Charitable Foundation.  The first being The Path of the Horse, which provides activities with horses for individuals seeking better mental health and well being, as well as offering team building and leadership sessions for organisations. Also receiving a generous donation was The Finian Foundation who provide financial support to families for the education of their children in the Lasallian tradition. Both are well regarded charities and we’re proud to be associated with them.

2017 Annual Count Conference

In Sydney earlier this year, we were lucky enough to be awarded Count's 2017 Excellence in Client Engagement Award. We were honoured to receive this recognition by our professional community and more importantly thrilled to know that we are at the forefront with the way we engage with our clients.Hayes Girling Financial was also a finalist in the 2017 Outstanding Quality Award, sitting top 3 in over 300 firms Australia wide. This is the third year running that we have been award winners and multi-category finalists.
